Our Role Within This Project

For several years, VIS Systems have helped these projects span over half a million square feet of retail space, covering 16 stores across England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales.

The projects, worth over £69 million, involved upgrading, refurbishing, and reimagining PRIMARK stores to meet the retailer’s high standards for quality and customer experience.

To support these extensive projects, we at VIS Systems implement a suite of advanced security and workforce management solutions.

Something that is key to the operations of security include a bespoke half-height turnstile system, integrated with face recognition technology, being installed across the various sites. This solution not only provides secure access control, ensuring that only authorised personnel can enter sensitive areas, but also streamline the flow of workers on-site, enhancing both security and operational efficiency.

In addition to physical security measures, we introduced an online induction platform, ensuring that all workers are thoroughly briefed on safety protocols and site-specific requirements before commencing work. 

This digital induction process saves time and ensures compliance with health and safety regulations across all sites.

To further optimise workforce management, we deployed an effective Time and Attendance system.

This technology allows for accurate tracking of worker hours, reducing administrative overhead and ensuring precise labour cost management.

The system also provides real-time data, enabling site managers to make informed decisions and maintain the tight schedules required for the simultaneous completion of multiple projects.
