Highways England has undertaken a major new package of maintenance and improvement works across the East of England as part of its Collaborative Delivery Framework (CDF).

Project Overview
The OD East Packages P&Q, valued at nearly £25 million, encompass 84 critical maintenance and infrastructure improvement projects, enhancing the safety, durability, and efficiency of key road networks.
The project includes a diverse range of essential improvements across major routes such as the A1, A11, A14, M11, M1, A5, A12, A120, and A47. The scope of work covers:
- Road surfacing and resurfacing
- Drainage system enhancements
- Bridge maintenance and concrete road repairs
- Upgraded signage for improved road user safety
