Our Role Within This Project

This development spans 110 acres and includes 22 cottages, 106 two-bedroom apartments, and the beautifully restored Grade II-listed Scarcroft Lodge, which serves as the heart of the community. 

Given the scale and prominence of the project, securing both the construction site and the historic lodge was paramount.

‍Our work on the security systems that needed to be in place began early in the project, where we collaborated to implement a comprehensive security plan to safeguard the ongoing development, materials, and valuable heritage features like Scarcroft Lodge. 

The complexity of restoring a listed building, combined with constructing new residences in such an expansive area, required a tailored and flexible approach to site security.

Throughout the construction process, we ensured strict access control and site monitoring to prevent unauthorised entry and ensure the safety of workers and materials.

We worked closely with the managers to maintain security while allowing the smooth flow of operations, especially as the project neared completion and the risk of theft or vandalism increased due to the high value of assets on-site.

How We Helped This Construction Site Keep Security High

We provided comprehensive security throughout the construction process, we ensured the protection of both the site and the heritage features of Scarcroft Lodge with high level CCTV and access control for workforce monitoring and site monitoring alike.

Our proactive approach allowed the organisers to focus on delivering a luxurious and safe retirement village, confident that their project was secure. With Audley Scarcroft Park nearing completion, VIS Systems continues to provide peace of mind, ensuring that this high-profile development is delivered to the highest standards.
