At VIS Systems, we play an essential role in the successful renovation of Newhouse Academy, a vital educational institution in Rochdale.
Morgan Sindall Construction received planning consent from Rochdale Council to replace outdated facilities at the academy, and the project involves the demolition of the majority of the existing main building and the construction of a modern 16,000 sq ft building.
Our Role Within This Project
With a 24-acre site and multiple phases of construction, ensuring site security and operational efficiency is paramount, which is why they decided VIS Systems were the ones for the job.
From the outset, we have worked closely with Morgan Sindall and the consulting teams to implement a robust security solution tailored to the project’s needs. Our approach focuses on ensuring the smooth flow of workers, safeguarding equipment, and managing access to the site.
Through effective monitoring and workforce management, we help to maintain safety and compliance standards across the site.
We also contribute to optimising site operations by supporting real-time oversight of on-site activities from our remote CCTV control room, helping to ensure the project remains on schedule and minimising disruptions.
The large-scale nature of the renovation, which includes everything from a new learning resource centre to updated sports facilities, requires a flexible and adaptive security solution that can evolve with the project’s demands.
